Education, Development and Employment Center in Georgia

Personal storytelling program was organized to offer a variety of visual tools for exploring, expressing and releasing personal experiences, moments and fragments from life.

During the workshop, women and girls were encouraged to explore creative tools and translate their personal experiences into visual language.

The main goals of the program were:

(1) To creatively empower women and girls;
(2) To share tools that support women and girls in expressing in a universal language their desires, dreams, lives, stories; (3) To translate personal experience into visual form.

We created a common ground for sharing stories that wanted to be shared and told while grounding the creative processes in feelings and experiences.

"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you."
