Los Angeles Women's Theater Festival presented its 11th Annual Empowerment Weekend of workshops and panels tailored to empower and enhance the careers of artists.
Experimental art and theater techniques workshop is developed in collaboration with theater practitioner, educator, and artist Azadeh Kangarani.
Telling a story about ourselves may be one of the most intimate and personal things we can do. Through storytelling, we can come to know who we are in unforeseen ways.
We can also create common ground for sharing stories that need to be told. This kind of storytelling needs to be grounded in feelings and experiences.
World Community Connect works in a close partnership with Touching Lives, a non-profit organization based in Mumbai, India. Touching Lives works towards the education and healing of the children and people of slum communities with supporting them to become independent learners.
Throughout creative processes, healing tools, and creative arts therapy, the program focuses on sharing personal narratives, and translating those narratives into visual language such as collages, paintings, drawings, and videos.

Simple creative tools for every day use for reflection, self-expression, healing, and much more. Series of videos created, filmed, and edited in collaboration with filmmaker Lia Faucounau.
Personal storytelling program was organized to offer a variety of visual tools for exploring, expressing and releasing personal experiences, moments and fragments from life.
During the workshop, women and girls were encouraged to explore creative tools and translate their personal experiences into visual language.
